(Love of a toon)
Ismeta woke up to a crash down stairs. She gasped from fright, and flung her upper body off the soft matrass, making her wild, deep ginger, bed hair flop in front of her face. She flipped off the blanket and flipped her hair back, and ran down stairs. When she was at the bottom, she looked to her right into the kitchen to see Elymas in the middle of a circle of broken plates. The toon looked scared while looking at the damage, he looked up to see Ismeta in her pyjamas and at the bottom of the stair way, looking rather surprised.
“Elymas… what happened?” the red hair girl asked walking up to the toon, with a bit of a confused face then what it was before, but at least she’s not mad.
“I was trying to spin plates…” the toon said shakily.
“Why where you trying to spin plates? Shouldn’t you already be good at that? With you being a magician and all,” she asked walking over to the side of her fridge, grabbing a broom and sweeping tray.
“I thought that, but… they just, fell…” “That’s okay,” she said cleaning up the mess.
“Everyone makes mistakes, no one’s perfect.” She walked over to the bin with dust and smooth, broken shards of clay in the plastic tray. She opened the bin with her foot on the lever, and pored the dust and clay in then looking back at the demon toon.
“Okay we need to get ready, and then soon head over to the police station, is that okay?” Ismeta asked.
“Yes.” Was Elymas’s strait answer.
“Okay, let’s get ready then head off.” The toon nodded then speed walked up the stairs out of Ismeta’s sight.
The teen girl walked after the toon up to her room, she grabbed her cloths and walked into the bathroom. And walked out wearing a simple white shirt, blue gens, and leather shoes. Elymas had just finished wrapping red ribbon around his metatarsals and stood up waiting on Ismeta’s call.
“Okay let’s go,” she said. The toon walked right up to her side and walked down the stairs behind her.
The walk to the station was not boring to say the least, the two had a bit to talk about. Subjects, moving to, subjects and eventually coming on something that Ismeta never thought she would hear in her life.
“- So how about I call you… Iz?” the toon said, looking up at the human girl. She was shocked for a second, but… did… Elymas… just give her… a nickname? Well… who was she to complain about something like that.
“I don’t see why not,” she said with a smile.
Finally they were in front of the main doors to the building. “Okay, I want you to stay at my side while in here.” Ismeta said looking down at the blue devil toon. He gave a quite nod and stepped right up to her hip. Then they both walked in.
Everyone started looking at Elymas when he was half way in the middle of the room, a few cops in the room looked there way then went back to their business. Ismeta walked up to the front and told the officer what there their for. He nodded, and walked out of Ismeta’s sight without a word. Both then walked to the waiting room and took two seats.
After a few minutes an officer came in and called Ismeta’s last name, she and Elymas walked up to him and followed to an office, he opened the door and watched as the toon and girl walked in. “Miss Lay-north, have a seat” a man at the desk of the office said, Ismeta was more than happy to oblige.
“So you have come here concerning this toon?” the man asked. Ismeta read his badge to see his name.
“Yes, Mr Dimmock” she replied. “And the toons name?” he asked, clicking a pen. “Elymas the devil magician” she said. He writes down Elymas’s name on a form then looks back up, “and your full name?” “Ismeta, Bangle Lay-north” she said.
The man stopped and looked up at her with a very confused look. “Wait what? How do you spell that?” Ismeta was about to answer when a thump next to her made stop, she looked to her left to see a tense toon next to her.
Elymas was a little mad, his name was harder to spell fanatically than hers. Who does this man think he is to call himself an officer. How rude. He dint know why he stopped his tail, he just got mad for a second.
“Maybe he should wait outside, he doesn’t need to hear this.” He said looking at the blue devil with a little stern look. Elymas hoped off his seat and walked out the room closing the door behind him but sat next to it in the corridor. At least no one was walking down in it, so it was very quiet.
Which for him was okay he could hear the conversation in the room still go on. He could hear a blocked out question, that court his attention. He suddenly heard Ismeta yelp and she started to yell a little, but it was blocked out even more and it sounded more like a muffle. Elymas was panicking a little, then he got an idea which made a light bulb turn on above his head. He rolled his hands around his arms and a magic crystal ball appeared in his right hand, he tapped it with his left and he saw an image of the officer assaulting Ismeta, pining her against the wall with her arms in the air.
First he asks a really rude question then tells him to leave, when the discussion was about him. Now he’s assaulting her?! The crystal ball in his hand turned black then shattered in his hand, he slammed the door open braking the handle off the wood, and he made a vicious snarl. The officer flinched, and looked Elymas’s way.
Elymas’s black, pie cut eye’s had turned into ovals with a white, glowing slit as a pupil. And he had had a smile that was very unsettling, showing off his teeth like a piranha. Ismeta couldn’t see Elymas past the officer, but by god did she hear him, and he sounded pissed…
Just then she heard a grope of people run down the hall way, to her thanks it was proper officers. “Dimmock… what’s happening?” one man asked. The men were a few feet behind Elymas but they could still see the position Dimmock was in.
“This toon just suddenly came in snarling at us and tried to attack Miss Lay-north here. So I protected her” Elymas was now beyond pissed off, now he was lying about him trying to hert Ismeta?! This amazing lady has saved his life, given him a roof over his head, and she has been helping with his pain without wings and the scares on his back. Elymas has done jack shit to repay this woman, yet she was still so amazing to him. Taking him under her mother bird wing.
Elymas wanted to claw at this man’s neck so bad right now but, she stood in. “No he was not!” Ismeta yelled sounding furious.
“This man just tried to assault me! And Elymas just came in, to protect me! And how dare you accuse him of ever attacking me! He saved my life three times in less than two hours, he has done nothing wrong to deserve the crap lies your telling they’s men!” Elymas leapt onto the wall and clung to it like a spider, his chest guarding Ismeta from this man. His demon side really showing as he snarled. Ismeta still not being able to see Elymas’s face.
Elymas had his lower torso closest to the sealing, his tail swaying as he looked at the man in front of him. Ismeta put her hand on his cheek and his chest relaxed a little from the soft, comforting, soothing touch. Two of the men at the door grabbed Dimmock by his arms and others when’t back to their business. But one officer showed her to his office,
Elymas hoped down into Ismeta’s arms and was cared to the room. He then sat in the next chair. After many hours they came to a decision that this case on Elymas will continue and hopefully finish next Thursday, and a separate case on what just happened, on a far later date.
They both walked home, once Elymas was through the door Ismeta locked it and walked over to the phone to make a call. She dialled the number then waited from them to pick up the other end.
“Hello?” came from the other line.
“Hey sir it’s Ismeta.” The young teen said.
“Oh, Ismeta! How did the police go?” asked Ismeta’s boss.
“Awful… …I was assaulted there by an officer.” She said, her voice going hush.
“What?!” came a yell from the other end of the line.
“I will take care of it on a later date, but I was wondering to help with the case. And help take are mind off things. I thought you might want to come over to have dinner, is that okay?” she asked.
“Sure not to bad of an idea, when?” he asked.
“Tomorrow at six, sound good?” she asked, trying to sound smart.
“Okay fine by me, see you tomorrow.” “Okay, bye” “bye.” She hung up.
Elymas came walking down stairs with his shirt off and had bandages wrapped all around his torso, he walked past Ismeta then she spotted something coming out from under the bandages. It was yellow and disgusting. “Elymas,” Ismeta said getting such, blue toons attention.
“Yes?” he asked.
“Can I see your back for a second?” she asked. Elymas got up and walked over to her and turned around to show her his back. And what Ismeta saw was so many things that she dint even know could happen toon a toon.
First: Ismeta could achilly smell Elymas. And he stunk. Second: his back was infected, having yellow, pus filled skin overlap his blue fur. But Ismeta, took a whiff of herself and she smelt to, then she had an idea that maybe wouldn’t be a bad idea. No harm in asking. “Hey Elymas, what would your reaction be if you saw me butt naked?” she asked.
Elymas practically spined on his hooves to face Ismeta about the question. “Pardon?!” Elymas spoke. He was shocked but not blushing or anything.
“Well I can’t get checks untill my boss gets a new book sense his old one was burnt in the fire, so that now means I have to save what money I have, and try to put down on water and electricity. So I’m thinking to help with that we could take a shower together, plus I could help with the mess on your back.” She said.
Elymas took a very good thought into this for a second. Unlike human male’s toons don’t really have hormones, they do but it’s not as full on like humans. That and Elymas dint have anything to hide, he already dint were pants and Ismeta has seen him without anything on. But this was now a bit of a focus on Ismeta. He does love her but he loves her in a family way, like she’s a sister or something. The only way how this could be weird is if Elymas makes it weird. Why the hell not? It might save a embarrassing topic later in life. “Okay I don’t mind…” Elymas said.
“Okay, you can wait in my bathroom, just let me get cloths ready for after.” She said walking up the stairs. Elymas walked up after her and saw her picking out some cloths from her closet when he walked in her room, he walked past her and came into her bathroom. When he came in he saw a bunch of hair ties and brushes but hardly any makeup. Elymas untied the bandages around his torso, and took everything off even his gloves. Just then he heard a knock. “Hey Elymas, do you want me to wash your clothes?” Ismeta’s voice came.
“Yes please” he lazily folded them and opened the door to hand them to Ismeta, she chucked them onto her bed next to her change of clothes from where she was standing and she walked in with Elymas.
She turned on the water to the right temperature, then untied her hair and took off her clothes laying them on the floor. Her shower was a mix between a spa, bath and well a shower so you had to step over a little fence to hop in. Ismeta stepped in first then helped Elymas in sense he might not have traction on wet smooth clay.
She started washing of the pus on Elymas’s back, she could hear him wine and whimper a little over the water. Pore thing… finally she washed his fur and washed her own body, then she turned off the water and told Elymas to stay there a second. She dried herself off a little then grabbed a fluffy big towel for Elymas and wrapped him in it. She walked out with the snug blue demon in her arms and placed him on her bed. She changed into summer pyjamas and walked down stairs with her dirty washing, and Elymas’s then came back up and hopped into bed.
Elymas came under the covers now being very fluffy and warm. Ismeta hugged him tight and pated and rubbed his back gently earning deep purrs as a reward, she could feel the vibrations coming from his chest. “Love you Iz…” Elymas said through his purrs.
“Love you to, you amazing devil…” Ismeta said kissing his forehead. Eventually they both fell asleep, nuzzling into each other’s warm embrace, as if nothing could brake what they hold in their arms.
